Order is essential to a happy life.  When we are organized and have a plan we feel more confident and productive.  Whether it's a small closet, a room that has gotten out of control, or a top-to-bottom over-haul, together we can create a system that maximizes storage and function and makes you feel good about your space.  Some areas I frequently address:

  • Closets
  • Bedrooms and Bathrooms
  • Kitchen Cabinets and Pantries
  • Media and Game Rooms
  • Libraries - Organize and style bookshelves
  • Craft Rooms
  • Storage Spaces
  • Garages, Basements and Attics
  • Downsizing for "Empty Nesters"
  • Corporate and Home Offices
  • Paperwork Management - Create hard copy or electronic filing systems and/or convert hard copy files to electronic files
Move and/or Renovation Preparation

Moving is emotional.  Even when the move is marking a joyous occasion (buying your first home, family additions, marriage) the experience can feel overwhelming and stressful.  Let me take on some of that burden by helping you prepare for your move.

  • Establish a project timeline
  • Sort and edit belongings
  • Donate unwanted items to charity
  • Pack and organize to prepare your home for move/ renovation
  • Unpack and set up your home once the move/ renovation is complete
Design and Style Updates

Want a "Pinterest" worthy home but can't figure out how to make it happen?   Whether it's redesigning your current home,  selecting paint colors and finishes for a renovation, or helping you prepare to move into a new home I'll help you identify the most functional and beautiful use of your space.

  • Establish an overall design concept (eg: Traditional, Transitional, MidCentury Modern, Boho Chic, etc.) and create "inspiration boards" for each room
  • Floor plan alternatives (eg: opening and/or adding walls to alter current floor plan creating additional rooms or a more open concept)
  • Furniture and room layouts using your furniture and/or suggesting new pieces for the space (3D digital drawings based on your floor plans)
  • Color choices for paint or wallpaper
  • Cabinet, fixture and hardware choices for bathrooms and kitchens
Home Staging

You are ready to sell your home, but is your home ready?  We all love our homes and the personal touches we've made to them over the years.  Unfortantly, this love isn't always shared by "would-be buyers."  You want buyers thinking about how beautiful their furniture will look in your home and how much they will love living there.  You do not want their focus to be your antique tea cup collection, overstuffed linen closet and wondering why your dogs have more toys than their kids.

It can be hard to imagine spending money on a home that you are about to sell, but the faster a home sells, the more money you make. Fewer days on the market equal better offers.  It can be unsettling to feel like you are rearranging the home you love to suit the tastes of others.  But if selling your home in the shortest amount of time and for the most money is your goal, it is precisely those "others” who should be your focus.  With some simple decluttering and basic staging I'll help you make your home look bigger, brighter, and more inviting.
